Cancer Check uses advanced filtering techniques to remove unusual, potentially cancerous tumor cells directly from the blood. By targeting these unique properties, our process can reliably capture tumor cells from any type or subtype of solid cancer, without needing to know the specific cancer type in advance. Overview
Cancer Check uses specialized filtration processes that can extract atypical, potentially malignant tumor cells, from the blood. Our licensed pathologists review every sample and determine if there’s the absence or presence of these cells in your sample.

Getting a Negative Result

  • This means that no atypical cells with markers that point to circulating tumor cells(CTCs), were found in your blood.
  • This suggests there is no obvious indication of cancer-related cell activity at the time of testing.

Getting a Positive Result

  • This means that atypical cells, which could be signs of circulating tumor cells (CTCs), were detected in your blood.
  • This finding suggests that there may be abnormal cell activity happening in your body, potentially linked to cancer.
  • It is important to remember that a positive result doesn’t confirm the presence of cancer. Further testing and evaluations will be necessary to determine what these cells mean and to rule out other possible causes.

It’s important to note that Cancer Check is a screening test and does not diagnose cancer. Similar to other medical tests, Cancer Check is not perfect and has limitations to detect all cancer. False negatives and positives can occur.

How it works

Step 1

Kit Shipment

Once payment is completed, we will mail the test kit directly to you.

Step 2

Kit Registration

When you receive the kit, follow the instructions on the slip inside the box to register it online.

Step 3

Blood Draw

After registration, you will receive an email prompting you to schedule a mobile phlebotomist. They can come to your home or office to complete the blood draw.

Step 6

Pathology Review & Results

A pathologist reviews your sample and data to determine whether tumor cells were detected. Every customer receives a board-certified pathology report for their screening.

Step 5

Lab Processing

Your blood sample is sent and filtered in our lab using advanced technologies that can isolate tumor cells with our proprietary workflow.

Step 4

Kit Return

Your kit is sent to our lab. If you use one of our phlebotomy partners, they will handle the drop-off at FedEx for you.
